PVOTE-rich Pangasinan’ 1,946,682 registered voters are expected to troop to their respective polling precincts for the May 13 polls.

Lawyer Eric Oganiza, officer-in-charge election supervisor of Pangasinan, said there are 12,190 established precincts in the 1,364 barangays of the province, out of which are 2,632 group/clustered precincts or 1,195 voting centers where more than 6,000 teachers will act as election board.

Three teachers per precinct will be assigned, he added.

Based on protocol, he said two policemen will be assigned in voting centers to ensure peace and order per polling place during the election.

He reiterated his appeal to voters that in case of any noted discrepancy in their registered votes and the receipts issued them, they should promptly file a written complaint before the Board of Election and record the process. (Philstar Wire Service)
