UNVEILING OF PANGASINAN BANTAYOG WIKA. Governor Amado I. Espino III (3rd from right) together with Vice Gov. Jose Ferdinand Z. Calimlim, Jr., 2nd district Representative Leopoldo N. Macaranas, director of Sentro ng Wika at Kultura ed Pangasinan, and Provincial Tourism and Cultural Affairs Officer Ma. Luisa A. Elduayan unveil the Pangasinan Bantayog Wika on December 6. The structure, which is the eleventh to be established throughout the country, is located at the center aisle of the Maramba Boulevard in Lingayen. The monument serve as a structure of salute to local languages. Similar structures were established in Antique, Ifugao, Mati City (Davao Oriental), Kalinga, Occidental Mindoro, Bukidnon, Bataan, Batangas, Surigao City, and Baguio City. (Photo by Meinard V.
