Gun-for-hire group leader shot dead in clash with cops
SAN FABIAN—A notorious gun-for hire
and a top drug dealer in Pangasinan and Region 1 was neutralized when he was
killed in an armed encounter with policemen in Barangay Longos Parac-parac, of
this town early morning of December 26.
P/ Sr. Superintendent Wilson Lopez, Pangasinan provincial director, identified
the suspect as Christian Narag Bandarlipe, a.k.a. “Biloy” and a resident of San
Fabian.
Bandarlipe shot it out with joint
operatives of the Pangasinan Police who were about to serve a search warrant at his residence for
violation of R.A. 10591 at about 3:40 a.m. that day.
Bandarlipe, tagged as the leader of the Malicdem group of gun-for-hire
operating in the Fourth District and in other towns, was wounded in the
firefight.
He was rushed to the Region 1
Medical Center in Dagupan City where he was declared dead on arrival.
According to P/Chief Supt. Romulo Sapitula, police regional director,
Bardarlipe was charged in court for the alleged slaying of Eduardo Ronquillo,
Barangay Chairman of Bolo in San Jacinto; Mary Ann Aoanan, a seven-month
pregnant mother of Barangay Bagong Pag-asa in
San Jacinto; and Kagawad Domingo Ramirez Jr. of Barangay Alacan in San
Fabian.
Members of the Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) recovered one Cal. 45
pistol loaded with 4 bullets, one fired cartridge of Caliber 45, one jacket
fragment and seven fired cartridges of Cal. 9 mm pistol.
Also recovered were two pieces of plastic sachet of suspected shabu, 13 empty
plastic sachets, one aluminum foil, and two plastic sachets containing shabu.
At the R1MC hospital personnel also recovered from Bandarlipe’s body sealed sachets of dried marijuana leaves. (Leonardo Micua/Nora Dominguez)
