SP approves Prov’l Governance Reform Roadmap of P’sinan
LINGAYEN— The provincial board recently unanimously approved the Provincial Governance Reform Roadmap (PGRR) of Pangasinan for calendar years 2019 to 2022.
Provincial Resolution No. 1956-2018 authored by SP Member Napoleon Fontellera and co-authored by SPM Liberato Z. Villegas, Jr., the PGRR as endorsed by the Provincial Development Council through Execom Resolution No. 11-18 was approved.
The PGRR is a four-year governance reform plan of the provincial government in seven key reform areas on Local Road management (LRM) and the Public Financial Management (PFM) consisting of annual targets and strategies which the province is required to achieve by 2022.
The formulation of the PGRR is in pursuance to the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) and Department of Budget and Management (DBM) joint Memorandum Circular No. 2017-2 dated April 26, 2017, to achieve all reform targets.
The PGRR is aligned with the Local Road Network Development Plan (LRNDP) and Disaster Risk Reduction Climate Change Adaptation Enhanced Provincial Development and Physical Framework Plan (DRR-CCA Enhanced PDPFP) of the province. (PIO/RRB)
