Six arrested in separate police operations
WAR ON DRUGS
LINGAYEN—Six persons fell in anti-drug operations conducted by the police in five towns and one city in Pangasinan on Nov. 15.
Three of the suspects were arrested through search warrants, one through Oplan Sita and two buy-bust operations. One evaded arrest.
In San Quintin, Felizardo Adriano, 49, a former drug surrenderer, of Barangay Mabini, San Quintin was arrested after being served a search warrant issued by Regional Trial Court Judge Emma Ines-Parajas. Seized from him were six sachets of shabu, three bullets for Cal. 45 and one aluminum foil.
In Bugallon, a search warrant issued by RTC Judge Mervin Samadan of Branch 70, was served at the house of Irving Ballares, 42, of Samat, Bugallon. Suspect was not around when lawmen arrived but the search resulted in the confiscation of two plastic sachets containing dry marijuana leaves, 6 sachets containing suspected shabu, two bullets for Caliber M- 203 and 40mm ammunition for grenade launcher, and 11 live ammunition for M-16 rifle. He managed to evade arrest.
In Bani town, the search warrant issued by RTC Judge Mervin Samadan of Branch 70, led to the arrest of Daniel Orilla, also a drug surrenderer.
In Sta. Lucia, Urdaneta City, Jayson Malinong, 28, was nabbed after he was tricked into selling one sachet of shabu to an undercover policeman.
In Barangay Magallanes, Tayug, Oplan Sita led to the arrest of Frederick Ambrozio, a.k.a “Eric”, 30, a construction worker, who was found from his possession control and custody one plastic sachet containing suspected shabu.
In Barangay Poblacion in East Asingan, Glorodel Ibus, 51, was arrested in a buy-bust operation and seized from him were two heat-sealed plastic sachets of suspected shabu and P500.00 bill marked money. (Leonardo Micua)
