Alaminos lass wins as 1st runner-up
MISS GLOBAL ASIA 2018
LINGAYEN — The provincial government commended Apple Joy de Guzman Bacay from Alaminos Ctiy for recently winning as 1st runner-up in the recently-concluded Miss Global Asia 2018 beauty pageant held in Cochin Kerala, India.
In its resolution, the provincial board
approved and sent its official commendation, authored by Board Member Napoleon C. Fontelera, Jr. on November 19.
Held on November 10, the beauty pageant was participated in by 25 beautiful ladies from various parts of the globe.
Apple Joy, also bagged the Gourmet Queen title, one of the special awards in the pageant.
The daughter of Mr. Joseph Bacay and Alaminos City Councilor Apolonia Bacay, Apple Joy won the Miss Hundred Islands title in the past.
“It is but proper and fitting for the Sangguniang Panlalawigan to commend and congratulate a fellow Pangasinense for bringing honor and admiration to the Province,” the resolution partly stated. (PIO/RRB)
