3 prov’l hospitals get P2.78M grant for indigents

LINGAYEN — The Department of Health (DOH) has given a Php2.78 million grant to three hospitals managed by the provincial government for its Medical Assistance for Indigent Patient (MAIP) program.

The three provincial government hospitals tapped to implement the MAIP are Pangasinan Provincial Hospital (Php800,000), Umingan Community Hospital (Php990,000), and Asingan Community Hospital (990,000).

MAIP program subsidizes the costs of medical examination, consultation, treatment and rehabilitation, and confinement of indigent patients seeking in government hospitals. (PIO/MGNO)
