DepEd Dagupan receives ISO 9001:2015 certification
THE Department of Education (DepEd) – Schools Division Office (SDO) Dagupan was awarded ISO 9001:2015 certification from representatives of TÜV Rheinland during the World Teachers’ Day celebration held at CSI Stadia on October 3.
The certification means SDO Dagupan attained the international standard and requirements for a quality management system. The scope of the certification includes the provision of Curriculum Implementation, School Governance and Operations, and General Administrative Support Services.
The ISO Certification is an accreditation conducted by an external certifying body to ensure that an organization performs its processes with international standards.
Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Lorna G. Bugayong, in her message, dedicated the achievement to all teachers in the city.
“As we have said, we have successfully hurdled all of the challenges thrown at us (as we are now ISO certified). We dedicate these sacrifices and challenges that we have hurdled, to you, our dear teachers,” said Dr. Bugayong.
She also thanked Mayor Belen T. Fernandez for her continuous support to the youth and education. (CIO/VDV)
