BANI — A member of a notorious gun-for-hire group was arrested in a coordinated raid of his house in Barangay Ballag at about 7 A.M. on August 22, the Pangasinan Police Provincial Office (PPPO) reported.

Arrested was Norberto Necesito, 29, a member of the Corpuz-Humilde group, a newly identified criminal group engaged in gun-for-hire activities, cattle rustling and robbery holdup in Western Pangasinan.

Seized from his house were one Cal. 45 pistol and 45 bullets, one magazine for M-16 rifle, a hand grenade, a rifle grenade and two gun bags.

Cases for violation of R.A. 10591 (Illegal Possession of Forearms) and RA 9156 (Illegal Possession of Ammunition) were filed against Necesito. (Leonardo Micua)
