Two drug suspects fall in buy-bust operations
TWO drug personalities were arrested in separate drug buy-bust operations conducted by the police in Dagupan on May 21.
Members of the Dagupan City Police Station, in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), arrested Renz Boqueo, 25, a resident of Bonuan Gueset, in a 9:30 p.m. operation on Arellano Street in Barangay Pantal.
The police said they seized from him two pieces of heat-sealed sachets of suspected shabu, and ₱500 used in buy-bust operation.
Later at 11 p.m., an operation conducted in Bonuan Gueset by the police-PDEA operatives resulted in the arrest of Mike Soriano, 20, who lives in Eastern Country in Bonuan Blue Beach.
Three pieces of heat-sealed sachets of suspected shabu were seized from the suspect, according to the police.
Both suspects are now facing their second cases of violating Republic Act 9165, or the Dangerous Drugs Act as amended. (Leonardo Micua)
