SAN CARLOS CITY– A Small Town Lottery (STL) collector was arrested by the city police in a drug buy-bust operation it coordinated with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Barangay Rizal Avenue at 5:20 p.m. on May 17.

The suspect, Mores Resultay, 36, of Barangay Paitan, was caught in the act of selling two suspected sachet of shabu to a police officer who posed as a buyer.

Seized from him was the marked money of P500 bill paid by the police operative in exchange for the two sachets of shabu, a green lighter, two pieces of live ammunition for a 12-gauge shot un; a mobile phone, two pieces of STL “papelitos”, ball pen, and one Yamaha motorcycle.

Further search revealed two more sachets of suspected shabu were found in his pocket.

The police said the suspect, who is a drug surrenderer, was placed under surveillance after receiving reports he has resumed his illegal activities while collecting bets for STL. (Leonardo Micua)
