SAN CARLOS CITY–A businessman was arrested when joint elements of the San Carlos City police and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) implemented a search warrant at his residence on Roxas Boulevard at about 5:45 a.m. on March 26.

Arrested was Ricardo Paed, 56, in whose house the lawmen seized five sachets of suspected shabu.

Also seized during the search were three bullets for Cal. 9 mm. pistol and one bullet for Cal. 40.

The search warrant for violation of Republic Act No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Anti-Dangerous Act of 2002 was issued by Acting Executive Judge Jaime Dojillo, Regional Trial Court executive judge of Branch 57 in San Carlos City. (Leonardo Micua)
