OVERSEAS Filipino Workers (OFWs), businessmen and vacationing families overseas now have a convenient way of going to their foreign destinations without the hassle of going to Metro Manila.

Victory Liner Inc. (VLI), one of the biggest bus companies that operates in Pangasinan, Luzon, starts the Premiere Point-to-Point bus services from Clark International Airport to Dagupan City.

In a statement, VLI Operations Manager Ronald Sarmiento said Victory Liner decided to provide the service essentially to ease the burdens of OFWs and their families based in Pangasinan.

Point-to-point buses only pickup and drop off passengers at designated terminals. It is a faster means of reaching one’s destination because Victory Liner will use the Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway (TPLEX) and Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX).

Instead of disembarking in Manila-based airports and ride buses to Pangasinan, OFWs and tourists will now be able to catch their international and local trips from Clark International Airport.

As the international gateway to Northern and Central Luzon, the Philippine Airlines, Qatar Airways, Cebu Pacific Air, Emirates, Asiana, Jin and Korean Airlines use Clark International Airport.

Trips to Clark will start at 1:00 a.m. and the last trip at 8:00 p.m. and will only pick up passengers from Clark airport, SM Clark, SM Carmen and Urdaneta Victory Liner terminals.

Another Premiere Point-to-Point bus services being served is from Clark International Airport to Subic Bay in Olongapo City and vice-versa.

Sarmiento encouraged their passengers and patrons to visit the VLI website at www.victoryliner.com for easier booking and lookout schedules. (Eva Visperas)
