Pangasinan PNP signs MOA for regular bloodletting

LINGAYEN — The Pangasinan Police Provincial Office (PPPO)in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) held a bloodletting activity dubbed as “Dugong PuLEEs @ ur Serbis” on Wednesday at the Camp Antonio Sison in Lingayen.

P/Sr. Superintendent Ronald Lee, provincial director, said the police in the province are not just ensuring the security and safety of the community but have also been regularly donating blood.

The bloodletting, with the theme “Dugo mula sa Pusong Pulis,” was participated in by about 100 police officers from the third to fifth districts of Pangasinan, collected at least 46 units of blood.

During the event, Lee signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) with Riza Peralta, chairman of PRC blood services for the continued partnership between PPPO and PRC and for the establishment of a blood bank intended for the PNP personnel, its families and relatives.
