CHINESE CONSUL VISITS PANGASINAN. Vice Governor Jose Ferdinand Z. Calimlim, Jr., on behalf of Governor Amado I. Espino, III, welcomes Chinese Consul Wang Jianqun (Upper photo), Head of Post of the People’s Republic of China Consulate in Laoag City, on her visit to Pangasinan Capitol on February 19. Consul Jianqun, along with her husband, former Chinese Ambassador to Malta Cai Jinbiao (lower photo) visited Pangasinan to promote friendship and cooperation between China and the province of Pangasinan. Presenting a token of appreciation to the Chinese dignitaries during their visit at the Capitol were: Vice Governor Calimlim and Sangguniang Panlalawigan members Rosary Chinky Perez-Tababa, Liberato Z. Villegas, Noel Bince, Jeanne Jinky Zaplan, Jeremy Agerico Rosario, Generoso Tulagan, and Raul Sison, and Provincial Administrator Nimrod Camba.
