Magnolia Hotshots vs. Rain or Shine set in in Calasiao, Feb. 10
CALASIAO — The town of Calasiao is set to host another Philippines Basketball Association (PBA) games when Magnolia Hotshots will battle Rain or Shine Elasto Painters on February 10 at the Calasiao Sports Center.
This is the second PBA out-of-town game after the classic Barangay Ginebra-NLEx Road Warrior cage battle in the PBA Governor’s Cup before an overflow crowd August 5 last year.
Anticipating another banner crowd to pack the Calasiao Sports Center for the second PBA game in the town, the municipal council headed by Vice Mayor Mehadiva Mesina called on the police to plan for the security inside and outside the playing venue including the arrest of scalpers in the area.
Members of the town council are set to meet with the organizers shortly to finalize requirements to ensure the success of the event.
The Calasiao municipal government headed by Mayor Arman Joseph Bauzon is co-sponsoring the PBA game.
