THE Dagupan City Association of Northern California, Inc. (DCANC) will hold its annual Christmas and city fiesta celebration on December 17, 2017, at Double Tree Hotel (Hilton) located at 5000 Sierra Point Parkway, Brisbane, California.

The induction of the incoming set of officers for 2018-2019, which will be led by incoming president Jose S. Esteves, the former mayor of Milpitas, California, will be one of the highlights of the celebration.

In 2003, during his first term as mayor of Milpitas, a city that is home to several top technology companies in Silicon Valley, Esteves was instrumental in the approval of the forging of the sister cities agreement between the cities of Dagupan and Milpitas. As part of the agreement’s student exchange program, every year Dagupan City sends a delegation of students representing the city’s various high schools, both public and private.

Other elected DCANC officers to be inducted are: Jose P. Rosario, executive vice president; Pacita Aningalan, vice president; Evelyn Ugto, secretary; Joy Tangco-Manuel, assistant secretary; Vicky Brooks, treasurer; Carmen Estalilla, assistant treasurer; Naty Caramat, auditor; Lita Esteves, assistant auditor; Babes Mangila and Ben Aquino, marshals.

The new board of directors are: Mert Manela, Jess Ugto, Penny Cagampan, Eva Aquino, Susan Galvan, Cesar Meneses, Bernard Valdez, Max Ray Garibay and Romy Manuel. (Rex Catubig)
