Retired cop shot dead in Binalonan
A MANHUNT operation was launched for the arrest of the suspect responsible to the shooting of a retired police officer in Barangay Vacante in Binalonan.
The Binalonan Police Station identified the victim as Dominador Vacante, 54, retired police officer and a resident of Barangay Bugayong in the said town.
Investigation showed Vacante had just alighted from his Honda CRV motorcycle with plate number XRN 251 when a suspect who was also driving a motorcycle shot the victim’s temple that caused his instant death.
The unidentified suspect fled immediately after the incident.
The investigation team of Binalonan Police Station has yet to establish the motive for the crime for the possible identification of the suspect. (Nora Dominguez)
