Danica Mae’s killer is still at large
IT’S been a year since five-year old girl, Danica Mae Garcia was killed in Barangay Mayombo and the Dagupan City Police continue their manhunt for the suspect who was responsible for her death August 23 last year.
P/Superintendent Franklin Ortiz, OIC-Chief of Police said, a warrant of arrest issued against the suspect Bryan Macaayao, a resident of Bonuan Binloc, is active and the manhunt operation is still on-going.
Investigation showed that Macaayao had targeted to shoot and kill Maximo Garcia, the grandfather of Danica, when she was hit by the stray bullet in her nape that caused her instant death.
The Dagupan Police have verified that Macaayao is a drug financier-pusher while Maximo Garcia was one of the self-confessed drug pusher who surrendered in Dagupan City last year. (Nora Dominguez)
