Two drug pushers nabbed in Tayug
TAYUG–Two drug personalities were arrested late afternoon of July 6 in a buy-bust operation conducted by the Provincial Public Safety Company (PPSC) of the police and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Barangay A in Tayug,
Arrested were Danilo Fragata Jr, 36, a passenger van driver, of Barangay Dalumpines, San Nicolas, a newly identified drug personality; and Adon Padilla Jr., 32, of Barangay A, a self-confessed drug pusher who surrendered last year.
It was Fragata who received the marked money of three P100 bills from an undercover while one plastic sachet of suspected shabu was recovered from Padilla.
Both suspects were brought to Eastern Pangasinan District Hospital in Tayug for medical examination and subsequently taken to the police station for investigation.
A case for violation of Article II, Section. 5 of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) is set to be filed against the arrested suspects pending the results of the laboratory examination of the seized items. (Leonardo Micua).
