Rivera confirmed as Dagupan City Health Officer
THE Sangguniang Panlungsod confirmed on Monday, July 24, the appointment of Dr. Ophelia T. Rivera as Dagupan’s City Health Officer.
Mayor Belen T. Fernandez appointed Dr. Rivera initially as officer-in-charge the City Health Office since the demise last year of City Health Officer Dr. Leonard Carbonell.
Rivera is a native of Dagupan City and studied at the Dagupan City National High School.
Prior to her present position, Dr. Rivera served as Municipal Health Officer of the Municipality of Mangaldan for 15 years. (Joseph C. Bacani)
