LINGAYEN – Giant TV network ABS-CBN in partnership with the provincial government of Pangasinan staged the Red Alert Emergency Expo 2017 at the Capitol Resort Hotel grounds, here, on July 29, Saturday.

The expo, an educational and experiential learning exposition, is the annual disaster preparedness seminar organized by ABS-CBN to empower the listeners and viewers of ‘Red Alert sa DZMM’ and ‘Red Alert Program’ by teaching them survival and emergency response tips and disaster preparedness.

Red Alert is a weekly program hosted by ABS-CBN News Reporter Atom Araullo, aired via DZMM every Sunday from 10AM – 11AM with Dr. Mhar Lagmay, and TV2 every Thursday after Bandila.

The expo gathered 250 participants from Lingayen and from the University of Pangasinan–Phinma and STI–Dagupan.

Crewmen from Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office shared the province’s best practices in DRRM, particularly in water search and rescue training. (PIO/MGNO)
