Two persons killed by lightning
SUAL – A bangus feeder here in Barangay Bacquioen and a farmer in Barangay Laguit Centro in Bugallon town were struck by lightning separately and died.
Rolando Plaza, 23, a worker at the Phil. Mega Fish Corporation, was changing a net (lambat) with co-workers on a fish cage during a heavy rain on May 30 when suddenly a lightning struck hitting the victim that caused his instant death.
On May 28, Elvis Ochoco, 30, resident of Barangay Laguit Centro, Bugallon also died after he was hit by a lightning strike while working on a rice field in his barangay. (Tita Roces)
