Jamie Rivera leads Jan. 28 Bible Week concert
LINGAYEN – World-renowned singer and composer of Christian songs Jamie Rivera led the the culminating activity of the 2017 National Bible Week celebration in Pangasinan on January 28, Saturday, at the Narciso Ramos Sports and Civic Center, here.
Pastor Myra S. Jalique of Cathedral of Faith Philippines (Dagupan and Asingan) said the inter-faith event gathered together thousands of members of catholic, protestant and evangelical churches.
“The concert raised funds for the purchase of the ‘May They Be One Bible’ which will be distributed to poor families in Pangasinan,” said Jalique who added that proceeds will be turned over to the Philippine Bible Society.
Other performers during the concert include: The Perkins Twins and singers Gabriel Ramos, Ventinilla, Cathy Amaca and Myra Jalique.
Gov. Amado Espino III, Vice Gov. Jose Ferdinand Z. Calimlim, Jr. graced the event. (PIO)
