One-Stop-Shop for OFWs now open

OVERSEAS Filipino workers (OFWs) in Pangasinan can now secure all their requirements at the one-stop service center office (OSSCO) established at the second floor of Manna Mall in San Fernando City, La Union.
The OSSCO will offer various facilitative services to reduce transaction time and lessen costs for OFWs.
The agencies that will operate at the OSSCO are the Department of Labor and Employment-Regional Office 1, Philippine Overseas Employment Agency, Overseas Workers Welfare Administration, Provincial Information and Tourism Office-La Union, Department of Foreign Affairs, Technical Education Skills Development Administration, Professional Regulations Commission, PhilHealth, Maritime Industry Authority, Social Security System, Pag-IBIG Fund, Philippine Statistics Authority, National Bureau of Investigation, Bureau of Immigration and Commission on Higher Education.
OSSCO is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Mondays to Fridays.
Bureau of Local Employment Director Dominique Tutay said the OSSCO was established to make it easier for Filipinos currently working or planning to work overseas to complete their documentation. (Tita Roces)
