Capitol’s casual employees get bonuses

LINGAYEN – The provincial government played Santa Claus to the province’s thousands of job order employees/contract service workers and consultants, barangay health workers (BHWs), day care workers (DCWs) and barangay service point officers (BSPOs) of the province.

The provincial board, presided by Vice Governor Jose Ferdinand Z. Calimlim, Jr. approved on December 5, a resolution that authorized the grant of financial assistance of P4,000 to the job order employees, etc., P1,000 to BHWs and DCWs and BSPOs.

Resolution No. 349-2015, Authored by Board Member Angel M. Baniqued, Jr. partly reads, “the Provincial Government and its officials find it meritorious to reward, as a token of their dedicated service, all job order employees/contract of service employees/consultants for their unprecedented efforts and assistance in making Pangasinan always No. 1 in terms of public service.”

There are a total of ­­2,010 job order or contractual employees in the provincial government. (PIO/RRB)
