Another drug pusher killed, 5 arrested
LINGAYEN–A drug pusher who surrendered earlier was found dead and bloodied lying on the road in Sitio Limmansangan, Poblacion District 1 in Pozorrubio on the night of Nov. 21 with a message on a carton “Huwag ako tularan. Magnanakaw ako” on him.
There was evidence that Mark Soriano, alias “Ingo”, 28, was summarily executed by unidentified suspects, according to a report of the Pangasinan Police Provincial Office (PPPO).
Also recovered near the crime scene were one fired shell of Cal. 45 bullet and six fired shells of Cal. 5.56 bullet.
Meanwhile, five drug personalities were again arrested by the police in separate police operations in the continuing war on drugs in Pangasinan last week.
In Manaoag, Angelo Garcia Jr., a top drug personality target of the local police was arrested at about 12:10 a.m. in Barangay Babasit, Manaoag town in a buy-bust operation conducted by elements of the Manaoag police, in coordination with PDEA 1.
He was arrested shortly after selling one heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing shabu to a police intelligence operative.
In San Nicolas, Rolando Fidel, alias Olan, 41, tagged as the 5th top drug personality in the town, was arrested in a search warrant operation conducted by joint elements of the Provincial Public Safety Company (PPSC) and the San Nicolas Police last Wednesday at 6:00 a.m. in Barangay San Isidro. He surrendered earlier.
Lawmen found two small sachets of shabu from the house of Fidel.
In Bayambang, meanwhile, Jonald Payomo, 29, was arrested when lawmen served search warrant at his house in Barangay Telbang, Bayambang at 4:15 a.m. of Nov. 23. Operatives seized one open sachet with shabu residue and two sealed small sachets containing shabu and drug paraphernalia from his house.
In Urdaneta City, the joint police and PDEA also arrested Marina Rivera, 40, in another buy-bust operation on November 22 at Zone 6 in Barangay Nancamaliran, Urdaneta City. Two sachets of shabu, including the three P100 bills were seized from the suspect.
In Rosales, James Rivera, 49, a drug personality in the police watch list, was arrested by the police in Barangay Cabalaoangan Norte when they found one sachet of shabu on him.
Cases for violation of Article II, Sec 5 of RA 9165 were filed against all the suspects.
