LINGAYEN – The Lingayen District Hospital (LDH) and Asingan Community Hospital (ACH) will soon be upgrade, from the current 40 and 15 to the bigger 75 and 25 bed occupancy respectively.

In separate reports for the last two years, LDH has been admitting a daily average of 80 patients while ACH has been accommodating up to 50 patients a day, both ways beyond their actual bed capacities.

LDH mainly caters to the health needs of the citizenry in the second legislative district; ACH, on the other hand, serves the towns in the sixth district and nearby localities.

“This is in line with the priorities of the (administration of Governor Amado “Pogi” I. Espino, III) to have a mass-based care program to accommodate all people especially the less-fortunate sector of the society,” said Board Member Jeremy Agerico Rosario. (RCL_PIO)
