Father and son drowned in Agno River
STO. TOMAS—The lifeless bodies of father and son in Barangay San Antonio here were recovered in different towns along Agno River on September 12 and 13.
Based on the initial investigation, Jeffrey Garcia, 39 and his son Jerome Garcia, 10 went on electro fishing on September 12 in the Agno River in Barangay Sto. Domingo here but had not returned home since then.
The Sto. Tomas Police Station together with the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRMO) Rosales immediately conducted search and retrieval operation and found the body of the father.
Meanwhile, the son’s body was earlier discovered by the Alcala Police Station along the Agno River in Barangay Pindangan Centro. (Hilda Austria)
