Barangay captain gunned down in Asingan
ASINGAN – A barangay captain was gunned down inside his home in Barangay Sobol here on Sept. 8.
The fatality was identified as Sobol’s Barangay Captain Crisostomo Soberano, 51.
He succumbed to gunshot wounds from caliber .45 by unknown gunmen.
Soberano had just arrived from Clark International Airport in Pampanga around 10:30 p.m. on Sept. 8 to fetch his relatives who arrived from abroad when he was gunned down inside his residence.
The two male suspects took the victim’s motorcycle with plate no. 1963 TK as their getaway vehicle going east direction.
Motive for the killing is still being established by the police. (Tita Roces)
