BAYAMBANG—A 14- year-old grade-seven student drowned in a creek in Sitio Balangobong Barangay Tambac here on Tuesday, August 23.

Bayambang Police Station (BPS) identified the victim as Kevin Yalung, resident of Barangay Sapang here, whose body was seen floating in the creek by a resident in the place.

He was rescued by authorities and brought in a nearby hospital but was declared dead on arrival.

Based from investigation of BPS, Yalung might have drowned while crossing the creek on his way home from school. (Hilda Austria)
