SP, MYK officials hold joint session

YOUTH officials or Manlingkor ya Kalangweran (MYK) had the rare privilege of passing meaningful resolutions and ordinances duly proposed by them when they held a joint session with members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod on July 12.
The joint session was presided by City Vice Mayor Marc Brian Lim and his counterpart, Young City Vice Mayor Lesly Jane Calma.
There were 17 resolutions that were proposed by the youth officials and approved on the first reading while three proposed ordinances require committee and public hearings.
All MYK young city councilors were present. They were Lizandra Barte, Jeazel Juarez, Aljohn Vidal, Gem Reyes, Jethro Fernandez, Hannah Prado, Keith Feraren, Erika Pontawe, Rachelle Reyes, Jillyana Diolazo and young Liga ng mga Barangay President Ron Caridad.
The city councilors present were Alvin Coquia, Jeslito Seen, Jose Netu Tamayo, Redford Mejia, Luis Samson Jr., and Lino Fernandez. (Serene Susara, OJT)
