Prov’l board applauds Espino
LINGAYEN— The provincial board presented to then outgoing governor and now the newly inducted 5th District Rep. Amado T. Espino Jr. a resolution of commendation, three days before he officially stepped down as the province’s chief executive.
Last June 27, 2016, the provincial board led by outgoing Board Member Alfonso Bince Jr. handed to Mr. Espino a plaque on which Provincial Resolution 242-2016 was inscribed.
The resolution commended the governor “for his outstanding leadership and performance during his incumbency for three terms.”
“Almost nine years after his service as local chief executive of the provincial government of Pangasinan, the province has undoubtedly become the best place to invest, work, live, and raise a family,” the resolution reads.
Further, the resolution said “Espino is known by many as a governor with a stronger political will who has initiated total reforms not only in the physical structures of the provincial government buildings, but more in instilling to every employee the value of discipline and excellence toward their work.”
It also noted that through Espino’s leadership, the province reaped several prestigious awards and citations in different areas of governance.
“The leadership of the province of Pangasinan during his incumbency was not also spared from publicized controversies, as well as other politically and unfounded accusations, but the Governor remained unaffected and unperturbed by those imbroglios and instead focused on what he could deliver best for the people, especially at the grassroots level,” the resolution added.
