Perez vows support to Celeste

ALAMINOS CITY— Newly-elected Vice Mayor Jose Antonio Perez assured his support to the leadership of reelected City Mayor Arthur Celeste.

“Makakaasa kayo na rerespetuhin ko po ang inyong mandato bilang ama ng ating lungsod. Ako ay susuporta sa maganda, marangal, at tapat na mga kontrata at proyekto para sa ating mga kababayan,” Perez said addressing the Mayor during the inaugural and oath taking of city officials on June 30, 2016.

Mr. Perez was a Liberal Party bet while Mr. Celeste was with the Nationalist People’s Coalition.

In response, the mayor thanked and hailed Mr. Perez for his expression of support.

Mr. Celeste urged his fellow elected officials to move on from the elections and work hand in hand in fulfilling their promises to the city people.

The new set of city councilors, who also took oath in the event, are Apolonia Bacay, Joselito Fontelera, Carolyn Dizon-Sison, Margielou Orange Verzosa, Alfred Felix De Castro, Rufina Gabriel, Ranny De Leon, Perlito Rabago, Cirilo Radoc, and Froebel Ranoy.
