No. 1 drug pusher in Dagupan killed by DDS
DAGUPAN City’s No.1 drug personality here was shot to death by still unidentified riding-in-tandem hitmen last July 23.
Dagupan City Police Station identified the victim as Jay Morante, 37, resident of Barangay Pantal here.
Initial investigation showed Morante was in front of a store in his barangay when two men riding a motorcycle stopped in front of him and immediately fired at him.
Police recovered three slugs of caliber 45 and one plastic sachet of suspected shabu.
The suspects also left a cardboard bearing a note, “Huwag Tularan Tulak Ako, DDS”.
DDS is known to be a vigilante group in the city. (Hilda Austria)
