Robber stabs father, daughter in foiled heist
BAUTISTA-–A father and his 11-year old daughter were injured when an unidentified robber held her hostage in a foiled holdup in their lumber store in Barangay Nibaliw Sur here on June 19.
Wounded were Henry Pua, 42, and his daughter when the suspect, whose face was covered with a green scarf, barged inside the Royal Court Lumber and stabbed them with a kitchen knife.
The elder Pua grappled with the suspect’s knife until they reached the roadside that enabled the perpetrator to flee.
The minor victim was wounded in her back while her dad sustained two stab wounds in his back and right hip.
Their employees brought them to Sto. Nino Hospital in Bayambang town. (Tita Roces)
