FOUR persons were arrested by the Dagupan police when they were caught sniffing shabu in a pot session at 5:00 p.m. of June 21 inside a house of one of the suspects in Sitio Tambac Melag in Tambac District.

Arrested by Intelligence operatives of the Dagupan City Police led by P/Sr. Inspector Joel Cabaddu were Marisa Martinez, 51, widow and owner of the house where the pot session took place; Antonio Ferrer, 32; Bernie Martinez, 19, all of the said Sitio Melag; and Raymund Biagtan, 39, of Malabago, Mangaldan.

Tipped off by an anonymous informer that a pot session was going on inside Martinez’s house, the lawmen raided and found the four reportedly the sniffing shabu and in possession of shabu.

The operating team confiscated assorted drug paraphernalia and three pieces of heat-sealed plastic sachet containing suspected shabu.

All the suspects are lodged in jail pending the filing of appropriate charges against them. (Leonardo Micua)
