LINGAYEN—The Pangasinan Police Provincial Office (PPPO) and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in the region arrested 15 illegal drug suspects, three of whom are listed as top priority target in the province, this week.

On June 18, the Dagupan City Police Station (DCPS) and PDEA RO1 arrested Christian “Botog” Bermudez, 23, in Sitio Aling, Arellano Street in a buy-bust operation and seized from him one sachet of suspected shabu.

On the same day the Mapandan Anti-illegal drugs special operation task group, intel operatives of Mangaldan Police Station and PDEA RO1 arrested Danilo “Danny” De Guzman, 46, resident of Barangay Alitaya in a buy-bust operation conducted in Barangay Pias in Mapandan. Suspect sold one sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover agent.

On June 19, Aileen Tobias, 29, resident of Bantayan Mangaldan was arrested as JO1 Mylin Awas seized a sachet of suspected shabu from her custody during a body search in strip search room of the Bureau of Jail management and Penology (BJMP) in Bonuan Gueset, Dagupan City.

Meanwhile, the fourth priority target of the San Fabian police station (SPS), Robert “Nognog” Calicdan, 37, was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Tempra- Guilig San Fabian conducted by SPS and PDEA RO1. Operatives seized three sachets of suspected shabu.

On the same day, Jessie De Guzman, 34 of Barangay San Pedro, San Carlos City was arrested as he sold one sachet of suspected shabu and another sachet was confiscated from his custody in a buy-bust operation.

In Balungao, John Kennedy Marron, 23, resident of Barangay San Aurelio 1^st was also arrested in a buy-bust operation.

On June 20, Sta. Maria Police Station (SMPS) arrested Ricky Trinidad, 36, resident of Barangay Poblacion West in a checkpoint possessing one sachet of suspected shabu.

On June 21, a member of drug group listed by PDEA RO1 and sixth top drug personality in Dagupan City was arrested by the joint efforts of Dagupan City Police Station, Provincial Anti-illegal drugs special task force, PDEA RO1 and Sta. Barbara police station. The suspect identified as Ricardo Servillon Melecio, 56, resident of Nueva Street in Dagupan City, was arrested for selling three sachets of suspected shabu to an undercover agent in Barangay Poblacion Norte Sta. Barbara.

Furthermore, DCPS arrested Marisa Martinez, 51, Antonio Ferrer, 32, Bernie Martinez, 19 and Raymund Biagtan, 39, during their pot session in Barangay Tambac-Melag Dagupan City.

In Bugallon, the seventh top target drug personality identified as Lorenzo Quimson Jr., 30, resident of Barangay Bolaoen was arrested in a buy-bust operation of the Bugallon Police Station.

On June 22, a search warrant for violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002) and violation of RA 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act) of was served by San Manuel Police Station (SMPS) against Butch “Bulldog” Pablo, 33, the town’s third top drug personality in Sitio Sagpat, Barangay Gueset Sur. SMPS seized drug paraphernalia.

On the same day, Urdaneta City Police Station (UCPS) chased a tricycle driver who avoided the Oplan Sita operation checkpoint in Zone 2 Barangay Nancamaliran West, who turned out to be in possession of two sachets of suspected shabu and other drug paraphernalia.
