A JOB FOR MAYOR DUTERTE

PAGING President–elect Mayor Rody Duterte!

A flavored shabu found on a suspect arrested by the police in a drug buy-bust operation on Careenan Street in Dagupan City on May 18 is something for the books in the continuing campaign of lawmen against illegal drugs.

Arrested in a follow-up operation by operatives of the Provincial Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Group of the Pangasinan Police Provincial Office and the Mangaldan Police Station in coordination with the Dagupan City Police Station and PDEA Regional Office 1 was one Barry Sacayacay, 33, a native of Lower Bicutan, Taguig and residing at Rizal Street in Dagupan City.

Confiscated and recovered from his possession were 10 pieces of transparent heat-sealed plastic sachet that contained green crystalline substance suspected to be shabu, and believed to be pandan-flavored.

It was the first time for the police to seize colored/flavored-flavored shabu from a suspected drug dealer.

Also seized from Sacaycay were five pieces of P100 bills used as buy-bust money and drug paraphernalia.

Appropriate criminal charges against the suspect are now being readied for filling. (Leonardo Micua)
