Incumbents dominate Pangasinan provincial board

LINGAYEN—The provincial board of Pangasinan will continue to be dominated by incumbents with only four new board members elected in the six legislative districts.

Vice Gov. Jose Ferdinand Calimlim Jr. made it to his third term with 554,584 votes against his closest rival, Calasiao Mayor Mark Roy Macanlalay who garnered 551,680 votes.

First District board members Napoleon Fontelera Jr and Antonio Sison were re-elected.

Board Members Raul Sison and Nestor Reyes also retained their posts in the Second District like Third District Board Members Angel Baniqued Jr and Generoso Tulagan Jr.

Jeremy Agerico Rosario is back after staying away for one term, together with re-elected Board Member Liberato Villegas in the Fourth District.

Fifth District’s re-elected Board Member Clemente Arboleda Jr. will be joined by a new board member, Rosary Gracia “Chinky” Perez, former ex-officio board member as the president of Philippine Councilors’ League (PCL) Pangasinan chapter several years ago.

Sixth District has two new board members, namely, Salvador Perez Jr and Noel Bince. Perez was also a PCL president in Pangasinan. (Tita Roces)
