Top performing Region I LGUs to be cited in RDC awards
THE Pangasinan provincial government has been cited anew as ‘Cleanest, Safest and Greenest LGU (provincial category) and will be elevated to the Hall of Fame.
Alaminos City was ranked third in the city category while Sta. Maria town also ranked third in the Municipality B or the 4th-5th class category.
Sta. Maria town was also ranked third in the Inland Body of Water category.
Top performing local government units (LGUs) in Region I will be cited anew in the annual Regional Development Council (RDC) Performance Awards for the Governance sector come April 20.
Mary Jane Cacanindin, senior development specialist of the National Economic Development Authority (NEDA), said the committee submitted its assessment and evaluation of contenders for RDC-1 Awards and Recognition Program and has endorsed the list of winners to the board. (VHS/PIA-Pangasinan)
