Singapore kegler sparkles in Mayor Belen open tilt

SINGAPORE kegler John Katon of ATBA turned in a superb game to grab the open division of the Mayor Belen Fernandez Cup tenpin bowling championships held at the CSI Bowling Lanes in Lucao, Dagupan City.

Katon scored a total of 2294 pinfalls to pull away from DATBIā€™s stalwart Joe Dalmacio of Rosario, La Union (2207) and BALP Jeff Carabeo of Manila (2186) to bag the P60,000 top prize.

Dalmacio collected P30,000 while Carabeo earned P15,000.
Rounding up the top six were Krizziah Tabora, Janus de Guzman and Kenneth Chua all from TBAM-Prima and received P8,000, P5,000 and P4,000, respectively
The classified category went to Teddy Angeles of BALP-CASBA from Las Pinas, Rizal to pocket the P45,000 top prize with 2191 pinfalls. John Paul Go of SCTBA-Prima from Baguio City (2161) landed second worth P20,000 and Mike Abarra of DATBI from Alaminos City finished third good for P10,000.

Patrick Nuqui of PBA-Nobleland, Jack Interia of ATBA-GRUPPO and Emma Banez of BALP-CASBA landed fourth, fifth and sixth to take P7,000, P5,000 and P4,000, correspondingly. (Jesus Garcia, Jr)
