Robbers victimize parish priest’s house
MANGALDAN—A 65-year-old parish priest here is the latest victim of robbers in the province.
Rev. Jose Laforteza reported the robbery in his house at Barangay Guiguilonen here to the Mangaldan Police Station (MPS) on April 6.
Laforteza said his missing bag contained important documents along with three cellphones, an ipod and cash money amounting to Php60, 000.
Based on the initial investigation, the suspect entered the house of the priest through a small open window in the comfort room and later destroyed a side window to escape.
MPS managed to fingerprint in the windows on file to aid in the on-going probe. (Hilda Austria)
