Acuña declares all out war vs. hunger and poverty
3rd successful streak in campaign trail
STA. BARBARA—In his recent rally held last April 17 at the Sta. Barbara Public Plaza, congressional candidate Atty. Eric Peralta Acuña declared an all-out- war against hunger and poverty as he pledged his support for the farmers in the Third District of Pangasinan. He made the statement during his campaign rally at the public plaza attended by more than a thousand supporters.
The main platform of Acuña is based on food production and food security, the two neglected issues of the current and past administration. He reiterated that through his newly discovered AMO 5-in-1 solution and his three-step guide: “Dasal”, “Kuli”, and “Tulong ed kapwa”, the farmers can ensure a bountiful harvest.
The main supporters behind Acuña’s successful campaign are the farmers who have benefited from his newly discovered fertilizer, according to Nick Jovero, municipal chairman.
Aside from a show of hands during his successful campaign rally, Acuña was warmly welcomed by the people of Sta. Barbara during his three-kilometer long motorcade.
In Mapandan, 185 colorfully-adorned “kuligligs” and farm tractors were driven by their farmer-owners to show their support for the congressional bid of Atty. Acuña who started his third leg of campaigning last April 19, in the municipality of Mapandan.
Aside from the motorcade, Acuña also held a campaign rally at the Mapandan town auditorium where thousands of farmers were also in attendance.
During the campaign rally, Acuña emphasized that farming is the most decent of all professions and that he will never resort to vote-buying. He believes that farmers deserve dignity, respect, and a livelihood that is why he decided to seek a return to public office.
Thousands flock to show overwhelming support for Acuña during his Sta. Barbara – Mapandan rally last April 17 and 19, 2016.
To reciprocate the improvement in their livelihood owing to the success of his new technology, the AMO 5-in-1 solution, the farmers manifested their all-out support for Acuña. According to the farmers of Mapandan they have greatly benefited from the technology he selflessly shared and they would support a candidate with a concrete platform.
Ben Mosada, municipal chairman, assured farmers that the AMO solution will be distributed not only for the farmers use but also to those who are engaged in backyard farming.
Ericson Parayno, a die-hard supporter of Acuña, posted on his social media account saying, “If the other candidates see the overwhelming support, they will start to tremble and will now resort to vote-buying, saying these opponents will clearly manifest their lack of respect to the dignity of the Mapandanians. Let us join hands in repulsing these unworthy candidates.” he said. (AVR/EMA) (Paid for by: Friends of Eric Acuña)
