Sison town’s satellite market completed and operational
COJUANGCO UPDATES
THE residents of Sison town now enjoy their new, clean and convenient Sison Satellite Market (SSM) in Barangay Poblacion Central inaugurated on March 8.
The area, with wide parking space, well-ventilated and heat-insulated building, is open and ready to serve the needs of the townsfolk for their daily meals, from meat, vegetables, fish, fruits, to other dry goods for their basic and essential needs.
The Sison Satellite Market is near the town hall, plaza and Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church.
Its inauguration proved skeptics and Doubting Thomases wrong. What was perceived then as impossible became a reality.
The construction of the SSM was temporarily stopped because of the abolition of the Priority Development Assistance Fund for congressmen and senators.
Fifth District Rep. Kimi Cojuangco, who is seeking re-election this May 9 polls, initiated the project during her stint as mayor of this town.
Cojuangco was succeeded by Mayor Mina Joy Pangasinan when she was elected as congresswoman.
Cojuangco graced the inauguration of the market with town officials led by Mayor Pangasinan.
The congresswoman went around exchanging notes with the stall owners.
She made them happier when she bought almost all their displayed commodities that day.
Cojuangco, as always, got thumbs up sign from the residents and the traders for her constant concern for their welfare.
