LINGAYEN – Gov. Amado T. Espino, Jr. underscored the importance of family and the passion of Christ for the forgiveness of our sins after leading provincial heads, employees and visitors during the Station of the Cross held around the Capitol Complex in observance of the Lenten season last March 23.

The governor called on the participants and devotees to remind their children and family members of the sacrifices of Christ to redeem us all from our sins.

As the governor always emphasized, he told the provincial employees and the people that the family should always come first even as he thanked them for having a pleasurable experience with them.

The governor said that his nine years stay as the provincial governor has been full of camaraderie and friendship which he will treasure.

Gov. Espino likewise thanked Fr. Francis Posadas who, according to the governor, has introduced the religious events such as the Station of the Cross and the Missa de Gallo as part of the regular activities at the Capitol. /ADV
