SOME towns being served by the Central Pangasinan Electric Cooperative (Cenpelco) and the Dagupan Electric Corporation (Decorp) will experience 10-hour power interruption on March 22, according to the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP).

Preventive maintenance is the main reason for the power interruption affecting Cenpelco substations in Bautista, Bayambang, Guilig and Bari, Mangaldan and this will have an effect too on the entire franchise area of the public utility.

The San Jacinto substation of Decorp shall also experience one momentary power interruption in the morning and another in the afternoon to facilitate load transfer, said Lilybeth Gaydowen, NGCP North Luzon Corp Communication Public affairs officer.
