LINGAYEN– The Provincial Engineer’s Office (PEO) recently bought 11 various new construction equipment for the implementation of different infrastructure projects in the province.

Gov. Amado Espino Jr. led the blessing of the equipment held at the Provincial Motorpool, Capitol Compound last week.

Provincial engineer, Engr. Antonieta Delos Santos, the new equipment cost the provincial government P130 million.

The new equipment listed one unit each of mini dump truck, aerial platform, road roller tandem, vibratory roller, bulldozer/crawler/sigma dozer, water truck, truck/forward dropside with crane, hydraulic machine press, wheel excavator, mini asphalt finisher, and rotary drilling machine.

These are in addition to the 140 existing construction equipment at the PEO “some of which were purchased way back year 1996, so some of these are for disposal since it’s not economical to repair them anymore,” said Delos Santos. (Johanne Macob)
