Search for Miss Hundred Islands on
ALAMINOS CITY— This city known best for its world-famous Hundred Islands National Park (HINP) will continue to boost its tourism efforts with the help of an ambassadress.
The city government of Alaminos recently launched its search for Miss Hundred Islands 2016 as the next ambassadress of beauty and goodwill.
Ladies interested to join, application forms are now available at the 24/7 Action Center, Don Enrique Braganza Complex, Barangay Poblacion, Alaminos City.
Applicant should a bonafide resident of Alaminos City with at least six months of residency, single without children, 16-25 years old at the time of the pageant, at least 5’2” in height, and not a title holder in any provincial/regional/national/international pageant.
Applicant must submit accomplished application form, latest diploma earned, medical certificate for both physical and mental well-being, certificate of good moral character from school/church/barangay/professional organization, parent’s consent if below 18 years old, two photographs (one close-up and one full body), one photocopy of NSO birth certificate, and an endorsement from their respective barangay.
Prizes at stake are P50,000, trophy, sash, bouquet of flowers, and full scholarship to any school for the Miss Hundred Islands; P30,000, trophy, sash, and bouquet of flowers for the Miss Tourism (first runner up); and P20,000, trophy, sash, and bouquet of flowers for the Miss Environment (second runner up).
