Pag-IBIG to employers: Use electronic payment, collection facility
THE Home Development Mutual Fund or Pag-IBIG Fund is reminding all employers in Pangasinan that remittance of membership contributions and loan payments using the electronic system of the Fund’s partner-banks is now mandatory.
Crisente Cayabyab, assistant manager of Pag-IBIG’s Treasury Department, said all employers are now required to pay premiums and loans through the Fund’s accredited partner-banks via the Electronic Payment and Collection Facility (EPCF) platform.
She said the use of EPCF shall be strictly implemented starting July 1, 2016 where remittances shall be made only through banks and the Fund shall no longer accept over-the-counter payments.
